Our season begins May 1 and ends Nov 15.  If you would like to stay outside those dates, give us a call.  Weather permitting, we may be able to accommadate your stay.

We are a private park that borders Curecanti National Recreational Area. In addition, we are located only 1/2 mile west of the concrete boat ramp and boat launch area at Steven's Creek and 3 miles east of Elk Creek Marina. The park is situated a few hundred feet off US Highway 50 between mileposts 145 and 146. We pride ourselves on the safe, clean maintenance of our park and offer all major services and several amenities. Our facilities include Electric & Sewer Hook-ups, Pure Drinking Water, Shaded Sites and TV Hook-ups. Amenities include Coin-operated Laundry and Showers, Central Modem Access, Propane Sales and Fenced Storage. Our well-stocked Convenience Store features groceries, toiletries, fishing tackle and RV supplies as well as souvenirs and unique gifts. In addition, outside services are easily available. You will find that all necessary services including gasoline, groceries, post office, hardware store, religious services, auto repair, restaurants, banks and ATMs are all within a short distance from our lovely park. Volleyball and horseshoes are onsite. Golf, horsebackriding, river rafting, hiking and ATV trails are all nearby. Gunnison Country abounds with trails for your ATV or motorcycle. If you plan to bring your ATV or motorcycle with you and operate it within the boundaries of Gunnison Lakeside Resort you must be able to provide proof of insurance. Motorized vehicles may only be operated within Gunnison Lakeside Resort by a licensed driver. Although drop-in visitors are welcome, reservations are recommended, especially during holiday weekends.
